This house is over 100 yrs old with the basement being utilized as a storage room. Customers wanted the basement remodeled to accommodate a separate office, living room, laundry room and service area. We worked with chris and Jim to create a plan that would utilize as much the available space as possible.
Challenge: This house had several remodels/updates over the years, so we had to relocate and redo most of the wiring and plumbing to avoid having access panels in the new drywall.

At the time this space was a single room that was very cold in the winter, customers wanted a living room that could be comfortable year round.

Finished living Room: Installed 1" foam over existing concrete, installed 1x4´s for installation of drywall. New baseboard heat, recessed can lighting, new Low-E replacement window, new trim, new carpet and pad.
Customers wanted existing plumbing relocated and wanted room separated Removed existing brick wall, had to remove old plumbing and cover up existing support column.

Finished Living Room looking at door to office. Built new wall to separate basement for a new office, installed custom built oak cabinets & shelves, recessed can lighting.
Laundry chute and closet under stairs: We created a level above for the clothes and a space below for storage, installed custom made raised-panel oak doors, new door for new storage closet, leveled the floor, installed ceramic tile.

Inside new office/workout room: we created a storage closet to cover existing plumbing, installed raised panel by-pass doors, created a built-in shelf for tv,
